ELM Headquarters is idyllically positioned in a private woodland outside Ballynahinch. The classroom is specifically designed to create a homely & relaxing teaching ethos to inspire & empower any little mind. Judith Riddell has a MA Degree in Education, BA (Hons) Degree in Education & Religious studies & also a PGCE - general primary, all from Cambridge University. She has 15 years experience Teaching children Age 3-19 years, but her specialism is with Early Years & SEN. She has a wide experience of teaching 1:1, small group & whole class teaching both within a mainstream & Special Needs setting. She has also wide experience of different areas of school leadership and has taught not only in N.Ireland but also England, Jamaica, Nepal & Bahrain- Middle East. She was specifically selected in 2008-2011, to help set up the Children's Academy in Bahrain - the first Special Needs school of its kind in the Middle East, set up in partnership with Alpha Plus Private school group UK. 

Her passion in her teaching is to ensure that EVERY child is empowered to reach their full potential and she applies a 'whole child'  & multi-sensory ethos to all her teaching & learning.

Judith has worked with a wide variety of children with a range of special needs both, moderate and severe; including students with ADHD, ADD, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down’s Syndrome, Hemiplegia, Asperger’s Syndrome, visual impairment, hearing impairment, developmental global delay, speech and language delay, Angelman Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, Soto Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), Muscular Dystrophies (MD) and Fallots.
